1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Harmonia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Harmonia website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing the site, or using our services in any capacity, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Platform. Harmonia acts as a facilitator and marketplace and does not directly employ the contributors on the platform.
2. About Harmonia
Harmonia is a Business-to-Business (B2B) AI workforce platform. We connect businesses, enterprises, and researchers (Clients) with a global network of independent contributors (Contributors or Workers).
Our core services involve facilitating AI data annotation, AI model evaluation, data collection, and human feedback tasks. Clients require high-quality human-generated data to train artificial intelligence models, and Contributors provide this labor in exchange for financial compensation.
Harmonia provides the software infrastructure, quality assurance tools, and payment facilitation necessary to connect these two parties. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes for Clients, nor do we guarantee continuous work availability for Contributors.
3. User Accounts
To access the core features of Harmonia, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account.
- Account Registration: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Email Verification: All accounts must undergo email verification via our One-Time Password (OTP) system to prevent fraud and bot registrations.
- Accurate Information: You must update your account information to keep it accurate. Providing fake demographic or geographic information to bypass task restrictions is prohibited.
- Account Security: You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your password or session tokens with anyone.
- One Account Per Person: Each individual is strictly limited to one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate task quotas or bypass restrictions is prohibited.
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old (or 18 in certain jurisdictions) to create an account and participate as a Contributor.
4. Platform Services
Harmonia offers a variety of digital work opportunities related to the training and evaluation of artificial intelligence. Depending on client demand, the Platform may offer tasks including, but not limited to:
- AI Data Annotation (Image, Video, Audio, Text)
- Large Language Model (LLM) Evaluation
- AI Prompt Evaluation and Generation
- Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF)
- Human Feedback and Response Ranking
- Data Collection and Categorization
- Micro-Tasks and Challenge Codes
Service Evolution: As the AI industry evolves rapidly, Harmonia reserves the right to change, expand, or discontinue certain services, task types, or platform features without prior notice.
5. Contributor Responsibilities
Contributors participate on the Platform as independent contractors. To maintain access to the Platform and ensure high-quality data for our Clients, Contributors must adhere to the following responsibilities:
- Follow Instructions: Carefully read and strictly follow the specific guidelines provided for each AI task or project.
- Submit Original Work: All submissions must be the genuine, unassisted work of the logged-in Contributor.
- No Cheating or Automation: The use of automated scripts, bots, or artificial intelligence (e.g., ChatGPT) to complete tasks is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized for a specific project.
- Quality Standards: Submissions must meet the quality standards outlined by the Client and Harmonia. Repeated low-quality submissions may result in account suspension.
- Respect Confidentiality: Contributors must not share, leak, or publish any project data encountered during tasks.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients use the Platform to source human intelligence for their AI projects. To ensure a fair and legal ecosystem, Clients must adhere to the following:
- Provide Legal Datasets: Clients must ensure that any data uploaded to the Platform is legal and does not contain malicious, harmful, or explicit content without proper context and warning.
- Data Ownership: Clients must own the data they upload or possess the legal rights and licenses to use and distribute it for annotation purposes.
- Respect Privacy Laws: Clients must ensure their datasets comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, and that any personal data has been properly anonymized or consented to.
- No Copyright Infringement: Clients must not upload copyrighted content without the explicit permission of the copyright holder.
7. Acceptable Use
To protect the integrity of the Platform, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Using bots, scripts, or scrapers to access, collect, or submit data on the Platform.
- Attempting to hack, bypass, or disable the Platform's security infrastructure (including Cloudflare and Challenge Codes).
- Using VPNs or proxies to misrepresent your geographic location.
- Creating fake identities or impersonating another person or entity.
- Spamming, harassing, or abusing other users or Harmonia staff.
- Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or malicious code.
- Engaging in fraudulent payment requests or payout manipulation.
8. Payments
The payment model on Harmonia is designed to be transparent and fair for both Clients and Contributors.
- Approved Work Only: Contributors are paid only for work that has been completed accurately and approved by our administrative team or the Client.
- Variable Rates: Payout rates vary depending on the complexity of the project, the time required, and the Client's budget.
- Fraud Rejection: Harmonia reserves the right to reject submissions and withhold payment if the work is deemed fraudulent, automated, or of severely low quality.
- Payment Schedules: Payout processing times may vary based on the payment provider (PayPal or Crypto) and administrative review schedules.
- Tax Responsibilities: Contributors are independent contractors. Harmonia does not withhold taxes. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes.
9. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights are strictly enforced on the Harmonia Platform.
- Client Datasets: All data, materials, and datasets uploaded by Clients remain the exclusive property of the Client.
- Contributor Submissions: By submitting work, the Contributor assigns all rights, titles, and interests in the submitted data to the Client. Contributors retain no intellectual property rights over the work product created through Platform tasks.
- Platform Ownership: The Harmonia website, branding, software, code, and design remain the exclusive property of Harmonia and are protected by international copyright laws.
10. Confidentiality
Given the sensitive nature of AI training data, confidentiality is paramount. Users may receive access to confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information during the course of completing or managing projects.
You agree that you will not share, leak, sell, publish, or otherwise distribute any project data, instructions, or communications encountered on the Platform. Violation of this confidentiality clause may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of pending earnings, and potential legal action by the affected Client.
11. Account Suspension
Harmonia reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. Reasons for suspension include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging in fraudulent activity or submitting fake payment details.
- Submitting consistently low-quality or automated work.
- Violating the Acceptable Use policy (e.g., using VPNs or bots).
- Abusing the support system or harassing staff.
- Creating multiple accounts.
- Compromising the security of the Platform.
Suspended accounts will have their access revoked immediately. Pending earnings may be forfeited depending on the severity of the violation.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Harmonia does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI training data submitted by Contributors, though we implement quality assurance processes to minimize errors.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Harmonia, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. This includes loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to or earned on the Platform in the six months preceding the claim.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the legal operator of Harmonia (SAIF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS) is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
15. Changes to Terms
Harmonia may update or revise these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal obligations, or platform features. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform following the publication of any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
